Wednesday, August 3, 2011 – Team USA made good use of Finland’s near perfect August weather making final preperations on the second day of work for this years International Six day Enduro in Kotka, Finland.
Things have been moving along almost perfectly, other than a few late arriving riders whose flghts were delayed or a couple of lost luggage bags here and there, as the 28 rider US field moves closer to final impound on Friday.
Daily routines are starting to come together as US riders and volunteers have started official team meetings, gathering supplies and walking special tests using Finlands plentiful Summer daylight of 19+ hours a day.
The 2011 ISDE starts on Monday and will cover nearly 1000 miles over six days.
